Black. pvc coated fibreglass. 18/16, 20/20, and 20/30 (midge) specifies the number of wires per square inch in each direction.
18/16 – is the standard flyscreen mesh: keeps out flies, wasps, bees etc.
20/20 – is as above but will repel even smaller insects such as fruit flies.
20/30 – as above but will repel even smaller such as the infamous Scottish midge.
All of the above mesh extremely difficult to break but will cut easily with knives or scissors.
Aluminium – 18/16
Bright. Alternative to fibreglass. Rustproof and durable. Repels as above 18/16 but also additionally suitable for squirrels and birds.
Stainless Steel – 18/14
Silver. Grade 304. Same as aluminium but difficult to break and cut.
Pet Mesh – 16/12
Black. pvc coated polyester. Much stronger than regular flymesh. Designed for pets.
Bird Mesh – 19, 28 and 50mm
Black, knotted polyethylene square hole netting with 19, 28 and 50 mm holes to cover range of different sized birds.
Galvanised Welded Wire Mesh
Manufactured from bright drawn mild steel wire to BS 1052 and electronically welded at every intersection. It is produced in self colour (lightly copper coated) and galvanised after manufacture to BS 443.

19g – 1.00mm
16g – 1.50mm
14g – 1.93mm
12g – 2.44mm
10g – 3.00mm
